Women's Ministry

Free Church International Women's Ministry
"NOURISHED"
Because women are nurturers, we need to be nourished to fulfill our role. The goals of the ministry would be:
1) To give women an opportunity to be encouraged and nurtured
by the Word of God;
2) To be strengthened to move forward in personal & family goals;
3) To be supported by healthy relationships in the body of Christ;
4) To be a place of outreach for women outside of FCI.
We would basically be meeting each month with the exception of summer months. We would have one "coffee/tea" fellowship at a local coffee shop.
The format of the meeting would be:
1) Greeting and introductions of new people
2) Short prayer for food and the evening
3) Finger food snacks and fellowship time
4) Word of Encouragement
5) Special Song or Dance
6) Worship Songs
7) Teaching (20 min.)
8) Concluding Prayer Time with Prayer Partners
The meeting would be limited to two hours.
6:30-8:30 p.m. on the third Thursday evening of the month.
Meetings will have special themes that will help us grow individually and corporately.
January----Problem Solving and Decision Making
February----Deeper in God's Love
March----The Power of the Cross (Strengths and Weaknesses)
April----Goals of Combat (Guest Speaker- a soldier)
May---The Stewardship of God (Preparing for the Summer Months)
June, July and August---One Coffee/Tea Fellowship
September----Women of Honor (Breaking the Bands of Dishonor)
October----Laying Aside Every Weight (Living in the Present)

Three tables would be set up each month:
1) A food table
2) An outreach table for signing cards or letters to individuals
3) An ideas table for women to get helpful ideas
