Penny Brooks is actively involved in the ministry of Free Church International and plays a vital part in advancing the kingdom of God along with her husband, Pastor Rick Brooks, through its various outreaches.

When speaking, Penny often shares from divine inspiration. She is especially gifted in sharing every day practical applications of God’s Word through her own personal experiences as a wife, mother, grandmother and anointed woman of God. The message she brings to the body of Christ is one of hope and encouragement for cultivating an intimate relationship with the Lord as well as ministering to the needs of families.

She serves on the Board of Directors of Free Church International. As a board member of FCI, Penny is directly involved with policy review, curriculum and implementation of social and extra-curricular activities. Penny Brooks is a pastor in her own right and offers great insight to the various ministries at Free Church International.

Penny is instrumental in organizing fellowships and fundraising events. She is an accomplished singer and participates in outreach ministries, and drama productions.

However, as a mother, the greatest vision birthed in Penny’s heart is for children, and God has placed within her a special burden for those children who are spiritually, emotionally and physically challenged.

Penny has also done extensive hands-on work with inner city children, showing them the love of Jesus Christ by providing them with food, clothing, toys and the Gospel message.

As a grandmother of three, Lily, Rachael and Kiayla, Penny finds time to give each and everyone of them a deposit of love. Pastor Rick and Penny have openly shared the pain of their granddaughter Rachael, who was diagnosised at birth with a medium form of Degeorge Syndrome, that resulted in a heart defect called VSD and an interruptive aortic arch. But with a steadfast faith in God and the power of prayer , Rachael has surpassed all her doctors expectations and is today a documented miracle.

Penny has had the privilege of being a stay at home mother and has raised and nurtured three beautiful children; Preston, her oldest and only son and his wife Samantha, who currently reside in Greensboro, North Carolina with their two children, Lily and Rachael; Terrah and husband DeVane of High Point, North Carolina and their daughter Kiayla; and Anna, her youngest daughter who attends high school and currently resides with her parents in Greensboro.

Penny Brooks is a worshipper who must have the presence of God and desires to share the joy and passion of living a Christ-filled life with the world.
